The beautiful Jersey cows at Trengothal would love to provide you with fresh milk and milkshakes every day!
Trengothal Farm is a working dairy farm and Trengothal Barn is surrounded by the most beautiful, individually named, emerald green fields where the gorgeous herd of Jersey cows reside.
History
The first recorded dwelling at Trengothal dates back to the 14th century with a John Pongol Trengothal and the land has been farmed since then with 60 people living and working here in the 17th century!
The Hocking family bought the farm in 1932. Tristan Hocking took over the farm in 2014 and began to concentrate on growing the herd of mainly Jersey cows, but also Hereford and Aberdeen Angus crosses.
Tristan started selling Jersey steer beef in 2023. The brand new dairy was installed this summer and Whistle Hill Beef & Dairy was launched at the recent St Buryan Vintage Fair where they sold out within hours!
Whistle Hill Beef & Dairy products are all sold locally at various Farmers’ Markets.
But, as guests at Trengothal Barn, you can email Tristan to order your meat and dairy productsand have them delivered fresh to your door!
